For more than ten years, I have continued to work on this series of images, focusing on the movement, textures and lights of the sea but above all, more particularly on seabirds. My observations made me feel the fragility of these species and by photographing them confronted with the violence of the ocean, I tried to highlight this fusion which links them to the sea but also and above all this fragility. However, they play a key role in the ocean ecosystem and various studies have shown that their decline is linked to the general poor health of our oceans. These two books represent the whole of my work on the theme of the sea and seabirds.
